The deodorant roller-ball system delivers aluminum stearate or whatever.

Because of its convenience is the ball principle any use for delivering some skin-penetrating substances also?

Dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) http://www.dmso.org...nformation/muir.htm
Anything dissolved in DMSO goes right through the skin. (Old yippy trick was to dissolve LSD in DMSO, and put it in squirtguns for use on the Pigs.) NB: take cure-all claims with a grain of salt. [rmutt, Jul 11 2001, last modified Oct 17 2004]
