Consumer blood-pressure meters (sphygmomanometers) are widely available. Medics sometimes use portable units like this to monitor blood pressure over a day, or longer; the cuff normally attaches to the upper arm.

This can be somewhat inconvenient for the wearer.

Now, BorgCo have produced a blood pressure collar. Worn around the neck, the compact unit inflates itself at preprogrammed intervals and measures blood pressure before deflating again until the next cycle.

Batteries not included.

Only when blood pressure is actually being measured, though.

I do believe this would be a far safer option for those wishing to indulge in erotic asphyxiation, aka strangulation fetish. The device could have built-in limiters for both time and pressure.
