Standing Floor Decals

Have you ever noticed that some people do not understand how to properly position themselves in an elevator.

I for one am tired of people crowding my personal space. I am also tired of socially challenged individuals facing in an awkward direction that makes being in the elevator uncomfortable for all of the normal properly adjusted humans that are also present in the elevator. I think some people are afraid to look at other people so they face a wall or position at a strange angle so they cant happen to make eye contact with anyone.

These are like dance step decals that indicate where a person should stand and which direction they should be facing.

Each standing position is indicated by two feet with an arrow on each pointing from the heel to the toes.

[+], but wouldn't it be easier, from a social engineering standpoint, to simply put a current-floor-number display in each corner ?

But... one of the great pleasures in life is standing in the wrong position in a lift.

The best one, if the lift does not have glass doors and if there is a high likelihood of its stopping to pick up more people, is to stand with your nose almost touching the gap where the doors will open.

By combining vfrackis and Flying Toaster inventions (above and below ground energy sources?), if the decals were numbered for destination floor, egress could be orderly by floor...
