Isn't this already baked? I mean if you buy the kit and then you decide to buy another wireless headset, it will transmit the same signal to BOTH headsets or how ever many you have. |

I was really hoping this would be considered a novel idea. The wording from Ian Tindale is perfection. The object is not to purchase two full sets. |

Whilst I can see that one wireless headphone would give you mono sound; and two would give you stereo... I have noticed that the market seems to already be focused upon selling headphones in pairs. |

You can buy headphones and bases seperately, we had some 5-10 years ago. |

I am under the impression that this idea intends for a single (stereo) transmitter, and two sets of headphones, thereby being somewhat less expensive than two complete transmitter/headphone systems. |

Yeah, I now think that is what's meant: one base station transmitting to two listeners, each wearing a wireless headphone set. It wasn't clear at first. |

I assume there is a third person in the room, sourly not participating in the music the other two are enjoying. He's probably wondering how they can be be sharing the experience when they can't hear each other humming along. |

After some surfing, I found only a few sites selling extra headphones for stereo use. "Sennheiser HDR 130 - Get an extra headphone for your wireless sytem. Why? Because sharing your wireless experience with others is fun!" Transmitters with multiple headphones were mostly for backseat DVD systems and classroom equipment. |

The concept is out there, available and only slightly obscure. Less obscure than this posting. (It showed up on a Google search as 22 hours old, BTW.) |

The intended implementation includes, but is not limited to;
two children watching the cacophony of sounds effects and accompanying illustrations beamed from the digital heavens, whilst allowing their parents to converse peacefully.
Two grandparents watching the same show at volumes that suit each individual.
Two parents listening to Rachmaninov's Piano Concerto no. 3, whilst the children run screaming through the house.
An instant replacement for the continuation of musical rapture when the first unit's batteries capitulate.

NB. a long search through "bricks and mortar" stores, a short search through online stores and search engines, did not yeild "stand alone wireless headsets". I still feel it would be a good idea to offer the package in the first transaction. |

I know what you mean by it, but "stand-alone wireless headsets" is not how I'd expect to see this item described - your is *not* stand-alone, it's an add-on to an existing system. Search for "additional wireless headsets" and things should open up more. |

Provided the system is set up well, I don't think that the echo will be a problem.
Perhaps it is bakeable in that you piece it together with two separate sets of headphones, but that requires one to think up the idea...

I'm thinking the "echo" meant an HB echo (see helpfile:mfd:echo), not an echo echo. |
