A business that would take assorted wood wastes that are available in an urban area (tree trimmings, whole tree removals, furniture, building rennovations etc.) and convert them into a range of products based on a hierarchy of saleability and price.

A collection service would ensure that sufficent raw material supply was available, as well a drop off area for tradesman would allow them to dispose of work related wastes that they may have to otherwise pay to dispose of.

Potential products include; refurbished furniture, refinished timbers and boards, firewood, wood chips for garden mulching, wood chips for papermaking - would need to control species included for this application

The largest urban wood source is newspaper and junk mail.

There is already an adequate solution to the reuse of urban paper waste though. Much of the material that I am talking about will end up in a tip somewhere.

Fruit-crate furniture was baked in the Great Depression. Now, you can buy furniture that just _looks_ like it was made from old fruit crates.
