I'm not a particulary healthy eater, but when I do cook, I like to spice it up as much as possible -- why not give those spices a function other than flavor -- i.e. nutritional value? It's one way to get your kids to eat healthy...

Annotation:

doubt you could get enough vitamin in the spice to make it worth it-- you'd have to put obscene amounts of the stuff on to get more than a trace amount of vitamin. just take a pill. or eat vegetables, geez.
