doesn't everyone have an FB key? http://www.lockshop...igade_Padlocks.html
[marked-for-deletion] hardly original. [po, Oct 21 2004]

Confused. My address: 31 Stalyhill Drive. Address shown on box: 31 Stalyhill Drive.

Maybe this would work for a separate garage or storage unit.

How about a locked box (opened by a key only fire fighters have) that has a list of the number of people / pets in the house, and emergency contact phone numbers?

Can you tell us more about that, po? Never heard of 'em before. Not sure how it relates to the idea.
waugsqueke, May 26 2003

sorry waugs, being a bit flippant there. many places here are locked with an FB padlock which the fire brigade can unlock in a hurry. e.g. schools, road barriers etc.

the idea itself is a little daft. if the building is burning, the brigade are just going to turn up, force entry and extinguish fire and buggar off (sorry, return to base)

Window or door stickers for pets are common in the States.

sambwiches, I live at 35 Stalyhill Drive! You must be the 450 lb guy that washes his car in a speedo. Please stop.

How about a list of occupants *not* to rescue?
