More people would take the stairs and there will be less incidents of kids playing on it. |

problem. If I put in a coin to start the escalator, a dozen people rush the stairs for a free ride.If you use a turnstyle gate, shoppers could get on after they insert quarter. however, access for wheel chairs and other disabilities would have to be worked out. |
