Fidget spinners are underwhelming toys that spin. You push it from the side and it spins. That is pretty much it.

I thought that what you do is squeeze the middle then something like a two hole button whizzer mechanism <:o:> rhythmically pulses the fidget spinner to higher and higher velocities. This is how to make such an improved fidget spinner. place two worm gears adjacent to a central gear, then have the worm gears be slightly outcurved so that they are unidirectional at driving the center gear, approximately j0'

squeeze the middle again and again and it spins.

and another word on fidget spinners, the arms should have more area, and be like a whiteboard, so you can draw colors on them to make a color blend disk.
