Skatecasting is an innovative service for news delivery. It
begins with
the training of a broadcaster to wear a single skate on their
head and to learn how to skate around upside down, their
arms outstretched for balance. A small ink delivery system
allows the resulting line made in the ice
to take on either a
red or black appearance for clarity. As the latest reports of
global events are relayed to our skatecaster, they are filmed
gliding around the rink, forming a string of scripted words
behind them, as they make the latest head line news.
