It would work the same way The Patch works to help you quit
smoking (don't ask me how). The difference is that this one is
black and has an elastic strap that fits comfortably over one
eye.

AfroAssault is something of a Pirate Fanatic. I look forward to his insight. Can't imagine the burning sensation I would have when I Stick the adhesive over my eyeball - since that's a basic requirement of nicotine patches - hence the 'patch'. |

If the patch went over an eyeball, mayhap the delivery mechanism could be adapted to take advantage of the higher throughput available (compared to transdermal). I think that people shot cold druggish things into their eyes in the sixties for maximum effect (forgive me if my knowledge is incomplete here; I wasn't there.) |

I like it, however I'm concerned about the amout of contact with the skin. Isn't the patch supposed to get nicotene into your bloodstream through your skin? If you have an eye patch, there would only be minimal skin contact on the edges of the patch. |
