A spike, aproximately 20mm in diameter and 200mm in length. The spike is driven into the dry ground area. A fuse is lit and a small charge drives a lot of smaller tubes into the ground below the container tube in a cone shape. The charge also opens the tubes internal space to the air. The smaller tubes have a dew collecting pattern etched into their internal surface (thanks onymacris unguicularis)as well as holes to the surrounding soil.

Hopefully overnight water will collect, feed and make lush.
