Like a laptop shape, but a computer/screen/keyboard of touch screen LCD shaped like the arc of quarter cylinder. Programmable touchscreen keyboard at bottom. When turned it makes for more immerse movies and gaming. Also, cameras mounted at the corners can be used to create 3D model in real time, when an object is placed within the distance of the focal plane and rotated.

Presumably it's the inner surface of the cylinder that's the active display ?

I like it as a design concept, though I expect it'd be highly impractical in the real world.

[oc], do you understand it after another reading nine years later?

       Sounds like it.
