Alarm clock green light

An alarm clock light that tells you if it's okay to get up when you wake up early

Have you ever woke in the morning before your alarm went off, and you were wide awake, so you decide to get up and start on the day? Then you find out it's actually 5 AM, and you're going to fall off a cliff of consciousness at 3PM if you don't go back to bed?

Other times you get up a nice 20 minutes before your alarm clock, are not sure what time it is, and wake up feeling like you were run over by a truck.

Well, this alarm clock has a non-disturbing green light that turns on at whatever time you decide, so you can know if it's safe to get up or not when you wake up early. It also has the regular sounding alarm feature.

If you wake up and it's green, get going! If not, go back to bed! You won't have to worry any more.

       Oh, I'll still worry.

Can I get one that has a green light if I am late but can still go to work and not be toooo late, yellow if I'm late but can still call in sick, and red if I should not go at all and just start looking in the classifieds?

This gives me an idea I'm going to pösté separately...

Semi-related aside: back when I used to do things for a living that required me to actually leave the house, I used to get into such a routine schedule that I'd wake up two or three minutes before my alarm was set to go off--but only if I'd set the alarm. If it was a non-workday and the alarm was turned off, I'd just wake up whenever. None of my friends or family do it. Does that happen to anyone else, or is it just one more thing that makes me an aberrant freak?

Technically speaking it doesn't make you an aberrant freak. It is merely the result of you being an aberrant freak. We mustn't confuse cause and effect here. And "yes" it happens to me too.

That sort of thing is normal for freaks, so, no, you're not an aberrant freak, you're a perfectly normal freak.
