A movie about people getting turned into robots. | |
Gal's husband returns from a business trip and displays
odd
behavior. Being really good at math but not so great at
picking out what pictures have school buses in them.
"Bob,
I'm going to the store, I notice I haven't bought you razor
blades in months, do you need some?" "No, I'm good,
thanks
hon."
Hilarity or horror ensues.
I don't know if this has been done but I'm not about to do
a
web search because I don't care. I'll leave it up to
anybody

An excellent concept in so many ways. |

BBC series 'Humans'. These were more in the line
with brain take overs to create a range of
domestic servants. It was a totally excellent
series. I'll post a clip if I can find. |

Ok, here's the twist ending to my short story Analog.
It's about 15 minutes. |

The guy keeps seeing people turning into machines
because his interaction with them gets more and
more awkward, then one day he cuts himself shaving
and some kind of blue fluid comes out for a second,
then the cut instantly heals. |

It's funny because the more positive the change is depicted the more literally dehumanizing it is. |

Oops, forgot the twist ending. Then a ten ton weight
falls on his head. |

As the credits roll, the camera pans up to see
another ten ton weight coming down which lands
on the "audience", then the screen goes black. |

Then, as the audience is getting up to go demand
their money back, the screen shows "Wanna see
the
part where the guy cuts himself shaving and
realizes
he's a robot again?". |

Then it says "Well fuck you anyway!" |
|
| |
I don't believe a movie has ever said "Fuck you!" to
the audience. |

end plot twist. |

Replicas just needed a wide view to show society and the level of technology commonly used to sanely background the advancements used in the script. And yes, I'm the real William Foster, ten ton weight twist would have been good. |
