This may not be the most brilliant idea yet, however, it would be really convenient for people who can and do wear both as well as being another bargain that opticians and optical companies can use.

I know my local lens crafting establishment only keeps on hand so many sets of contact lenses. I know there are 800 numbers you can call to get them devlivered to your doorstep.

//Get contact lenses with your prescription when you buy a pair of glasses.// - FREE.

sometimes when you buy a pair of specs, you get another pair free. a free set of contacts might be a nice option, if its not baked already.

i am pretty sure this has been baked. i remember seeing sompleace that did that.. but i might have been asleep it would be good for the optometrist careerist as it is,.. wonder why "america's best" hasnt taken that into account yet...

My contact lens prescription is different from the prescription for my glasses so how would this work then? Also I have regular check ups for my lenses which include different tests from those they do in the ordinary sight test - eg checking the dryness of the cornea

[suzuki] you do realize there's no such thing as a free lunch, yes?

I have astigmatism. Which doesn't affect the cost of my glasses much, but makes my (toric) contact lenses cost 3-5 times as much as my glasses. So giving them to me 'included' in my glasses purchase would be a really bad business idea. Or would make all glasses hideously expensive.
