Having lost two bakers within a month of each other to drunk drivers....well, ok...this IS a rant.

       [BC] is right. My dad was a rational, intelligent human being. But, when he started drinking there was no talking him out of driving. It still makes me cringe to hear the phrase "I can handle it".   

       For those of you who do still drink and drive, I can tell you that it's a lonely, scary and altogether miserable thing for a child to sit at home wondering if you'll make it back yet again.
