OK, so I'm sure many have noted that it's a fine line between baby toys and dog toys, and I was pondering the whole baby putting a toy in his mouth thing (as I have a delightful one yr old), and I was thinking how shocking it would be to have a picture of a baby looking like he was smoking but really it would be a rubber toy. Hey, if they can have obscene onesies and T-shirts for hipster parents to buy for their spawn, why not the politically incorrect toy of a rubber cigarette or cigar.

There's certainly a market for novelty pacifiers http://cgi.ebay.ie/...QrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I like it! One could also have a bonnet shaped like a top hat and frills on the onesie in the pattern of 1000 dollar bills.

Not sure how to accomplish the monocle.

I cannot believe that anyone would have the audacity to suggest such a disgusting idea. Children are VERY impressionable and death from smoking and second hand smoke is not cute. Ever. What next? A fat suit so the baby looks obese? Oh, I got one: broken limbs socks and booties.

There is a whole section of society who were affected because their favourite chew toy came from mummy's secret drawer.

I like the idea (especially as most babies look like Winston Churchill anyway) and think that nobody has actually thought through the consequences. How many teenagers actually want to emulate behaviour they did as babies? Laugh as you show your teenage son some baby photos of him with a rubber smoke in his mouth and he'll never want to smoke again.

Edit: On second thoughts, there is the element of habit forming behaviour which would mean that as with any chewable toy, the habit of chewing something would be carried to later life, usually as chewing gum and pencils.

Kanakapika! this is a horrible idea! I'm worried that my baby will get used to the image of her auntie smoking as it is... and now somebody is suggesting this?
