Buy-a-Band
Have a group of instrumentalists follow you around. | |
A few days ago, I learned that in the Baroque era, some of the wealthier people in Europe had orchestras of various sizes follow them around. Sort of an earlier version of the walkman. I think this idea should be brought back into vogue. In addition to providing additional funds for school music programs
and lesser-known local bands, this would be amusing for the patrons, as well as the rest of us. I'd just like to hear the Darth Vader theme whenever a CEO entered a room.
Underground (1995), written by Dusan Kovacevic

In the frozen land of Nador they were forced to eat Sir Robin's minstrels. And there was much rejoicing. |

I misread this as "Bury-a-Band." Drat. (No, it's not a real idea; don't put it up.) |

Remember the 'Billy Girls' in Ally McBeal? |

No I don't. Why would anybody follow a toothpick around? Were they woodwinds or reed instruments? Only band that ever followed me around was stuck to the bottom of my shoe- BandAid that is. |
