Spacehoppers were a popular children's activity toy from the 1970s (see link if you don't know)
This idea sees their revival only they now take the form of an enlarged version of the corona virus pathogen, complete with those knobs and rubbery protuberances that are always depicted in renderings of
the lipid coated individual particles.
Happy children (and adults) can merrily bounce along astride their inflated virus ball, which by being translucent reveals its internal DNA strands proportionally enlarged to fill the space.
COVID-19 Spacehopper comes in bright blue, but other colours are available.

Having reached a certain number of ideas here, I had intended making this my final contribution to this place, but then I thought of something else..... but after that, who knows.... I have other venues, and now that Max has gone, the sense of fun, humour and intellectual capacity of the place has just been halfed, (for me anyway) and it's just not the same. |
