One end of the lightsaber is a toothbrush, and the other is a glowing, flashing lightsaber, which makes all the appropriate noises* while brushing....

*this would have to be the most important part

personally, strangely, I've always been fascinated with light/sound/readily-perceptible-phenomena pouring out of a person's mouth... this would be the brush for me. but why relegate the flashing, noisy end to the handle? much more fun to turn the bathroom light off, then intermittently open and close your mouth while watching in the mirror... alternating humm/glow, flash/buzz... hahaha... whew.

I was thinking that the handle would be the middle of the lightsaber, the grey bit (i.e. the end of the normal ones).

That way you would be able to see the flashing, glowing lightsaber in the mirror, as well as having the "light/sound/readily-perceptible-phenomena pouring out of a persons mouth" experience you so described.

Do you think George would like it?

I think he let his kids use it, even. =)

I second absterge's comments - why keep the humming laser fun for the non-functional end of the brush? Gargle with a dye that is absorbed by plaque and scunge, and not by teeth, and then go at your mouth with a high-powered laser. Minty megawatt freshness.
