Excellent, [MB]. The external radiation dose from DU
is only about 60 percent of that from the same mass
of natural uranium. What were they thinking?!? |

So, wait...this is an IOTHU (If-Only-They-Had-Used)
idea? What? |

//The external radiation dose from DU is only about 60

Well, point taken. Clearly, it would be preferable to use
natural, wholegrain uranium straight from mother earth,
but depleted uranium is easier to get. Also, intriguingly: |

"Civilian uses include ... radiation shielding in medical
radiation therapy and industrial radiography equipment,
and containers used to transport radioactive materials." |
|
|
Not to mention DU counterweights in aircraft. Yeah,
hmmm. |

Wow! You bought the same edition of Wikipedia as me! |

[MB] I hadn't noticed! What are the chances? Did you
get
the free custard?!? |
|
|
You only got the custard? You should have held out for the
okapi. |

They'd just sink if you sprinkled them on your muesli, [MB]. |

I filed a complaint against my own government for the use of DU
munitions. The exporting of toxic waste without the consent of
the receiving country is a felony here. |

I know where the water from Afghanistan goes. |
