This is a very complicated and expensive device that has been invented for the sole purpose of extracting cash from those that know nothing about vehicle maintenance and call a Dial-a-mechanic to help change a tail light bulb. It looks like a cross between a welding mask, a pair or electricians’ pliers
and a King Charles Spaniel.
For head light bulbs you need the even more expensive grunge-pinion fitting as well, which stops you skinning your knuckles. It’s a pair of welding gloves.
