Those who work in various different places, such as train stations and the receptions of various companies, are asked the same questions over and over, which must get very boring after a while. Many customers are more likely to look for a human being for advice than notice information posters. The boredom and annoyance could be avoided by printing T-shirts or whatever the uniform happens to be with the answers. These could be changed to the current most popular questions if they carried a flexible LCD instead of a print as such.

Aside from the fact that I usually find it safer and more socially acceptable to look people in the eye than in the chest, I like the economy of the general idea. But can you utilize [FarmerJohn]'s Signal Shirts to get your idea across? That would be fun.

Certain people seem to prefer to look at certain other people's chests rather than in the eye, though maybe this should not be encouraged.

I'm partial to the "I'm with Stupid" T-shirt that has the hand pointing down toward the wearer's crotch...Might be all we really need to know about some people.

[El Dorado Jr]: If that shirt were just a little more popular, maybe you'd have won the election.

For all the liberals who still don't know how they lost, my shirt tells them, "We upped our voter turnout in 2004. Up yours in 2008. W is for Winner."

I can't stop being amazed at the ability of some halfbakers to turn any idea into a political argument.
Pericles, Dec 14 2004

Is "ability" the best word for that?

       "Proclivity" sounds too dirty.
