Factoriser poll

The news this side of the pond has of late been full of apologies after the publication of the Hillsborough report. Like all similar reports, it's simply a blame exercise which has inflamed public opinion in an effort to curry favour and has achieved very little save for the inevitable compensation claims. The Factoriser exists to sift the internet for all references to the subject of a projected report and allocate them a factor of importance/relevance. The report cannot be generated without including analysis of the material. For example, if a core fact is that fans of one team routinely gatecrash matches without paying and have a history of arrests for violence and drunkenness, that fact justifies being fed into the overall analysis. This is a topical example selected to illustrate its significance, if any, to the unbiased completion of the report. Any number of factors can play a part but only if all the data is mined and evaluated properly before conclusions are committed to paper. Once the report has been produced in draft form, it should be scanned for appropriate use of data with a high significance rating to ensure that key material has not been missed or deliberately excluded. Only then should it be released into the public domain, where readers (who may like it or not) will be aware that all contributors and their actions have been evaluated for the purpose of achieving a truth instead of a drama.

Sounds like a WIBNI to me ...

//The Factoriser exists to sift the internet for all references to the subject of a projected report and allocate them a factor of importance/relevance.//

       How does it do this?

//Once the report has been produced in draft form, it should be scanned for appropriate use of data with a high significance rating to ensure that key material has not been missed or deliberately excluded.//

       How does this scanning work?

The author of Hajjmanay calls this a WIBNI?

Congratulations you've created AI. Any program that could do this, wouldn't feel like it.

//The news this side of the pond // this irritates me so much because its like the US and the UK are all that matters in the world...

but what is irritating me much much more at present are anglers who discard their bloody nylon everywhere and cause so much painful damage to small birds feet - but then that's just me...

actually the whole bloody Hillsborough fiasco is DISGUSTING and I don't often capitalise my thoughts.

and [phront] you can make your text easier to read by making a natural break every so often...
