Why the hell are smartphones still trying to connect to passing wifi networks when driving? I understand passively scanning for location assistance, but actively connecting to them, fucking up data connectivity while navigating? Ridiculous.

Yes, this is a rant, but also a genuine idea, for software that stops phones from connecting to stationary wifi hotspots automatically when movement above 5 mph is detected.
