Halloween Candy Bowl That Screams If You Take Too Much

For lazy people like me who just put a bowl of candy on the front porch.

The bowl has a scale built in. Calibrate it by putting one piece of candy in and pushing the button. It weighs the one piece. Then pour the whole bag in and it's ready.

Say each piece is one ounce, if the bowl lightens by 5 ounces or so, the system knows somebody's grabbed a handful and a blood curdling scream is emitted from the speaker and a witches voice says "I SAID ONLY ONE!!".

Motion sensors can activate the unit to say "Welcome my pretty, please take only one piece!" then do the scream thing for the candy hogs.

As for the problem with kids grabbing more just to hear the scream? Hey, I can't solve all the problems of the world.

       You can have only one.

I did a "Screaming Candy Dish" years and years ago here. It was for an office candy dish that screams when people took much candy. I believe it may have slapped your hand, too.

Great idea for Halloween too. Great half-brains think alike. Ha.

"I have had so many past lives I lost count."

"If I restored Spider Bells, and the Screaming Candy Dish thingy, I would prolly have about 500 really silly ideas, and perhaps one or two doable ones."
