The date is a significant one, and we hold parties
and formal events to mark the occasion. Who
could possibly forget the 4th July??!! It is the
date on which: |

the world's population

1951: William Shockley announced the creation of
the transistor
2012: CERN announced the discovery of the Higgs
Boson

However, thanks to a gambling debt in his favour,
Sturton secured over 2,500 bottles from the last
year of production and, knowing my passion for it,
gave** it to me as a St. Casimir's Day gift. |

desperately in need of access to an autogyro at
the time, and magnanimously*** gave me the Kina
Lillet shortly after I had given him one of my
autogyros. |

"reluctantly". |
