Headlight web frames

Helping spiders get fat since 2003

A small grid placed over car headlights could be used as a starting point for spiders to create webs. (Obviously, you can't build a web over a convex headlamp without help...)

When driving at night, small flies and moths will still be attracted to your lights. However, they will no longer die in vain, but will provide an important addition to the food chain.

Although killjoys might point out the fact that your car headlights will be impaired, remember that when flashing your main beams, you'll have the kind of spider torch you dreamt of as a kid.

Anyone know how fast you could go before the web blew off?

It would be a friend for the spider that lives in my wing mirror housing +

Maybe you can catch bunnies in 'em.

I wouldn't worry about the web surviving due to the wind resistance. I would be more worried about a 60 mph fly hitting the web. Although if you feed your spiders enough they could end up being a anti-theft device.
