Since the movie Concusion and the kneeling for the national anthem issues it seems as if Football and the competitive capitalistic American spirit itself is on its way out.

What about one last celebratory game of Hieros Gamos football where the blues and the reds, republicans and democrats all choose sides, elect team captians and have a sexual ritual that plays out a marriage between a god and a goddess, especially when enacted in a symbolic ritual where human participants represent the deities.
