Now, in addition to pushing buttons on the side of your chair to switch music stations, one can pick lower, mid, or upper back massage (or all)—with of course a heat option. People tense up on flights and can’t find a comfortable position.
What better way to forget about the flight than to listen
to music and get a relaxing massage. Foot massagers would be available upon request, as they would take up carry-on room. This option for airlines provides a comfort benefit without taking away precious seating space and would be a proper investment considering the “wow” factor leading to rapid word of mouth recommendations and positive PR.

This is a good idea in theory. In practice I have tried a number of appliances which claim to offer some kind of massage facility. Without fail they have all disappointed and either tickled me beyond my ability to tolerate, or induced in me that quivering feeling you get after you've been using an electric sander for a couple of hours. |
