Information overdose is a settled concept amongst the half-hard at work human beings on earth. What needs to be established is a description for the actual event, and maybe some pamphlets about avoiding it.

If you haven't already read it, you might want to read 'Future Shock', [daseva]. Dated in some ways but still pretty thought-provoking and relevant.

Great thinking, zen-tom. That can be a seperate idea: Rehab centers for those suffering from IIE.

To answer your question(s): It just happens, this sharing of knowledge. People relate and give it a word and, whamo! Knowledge is shared, and everyone goes home and goes to bed. Everyone except those suffering from EEI, that is.

       [k_sra], should I be? <guilt-trippy silence>
