A line of fabulously expensive smartphone cases consisting of a titanium shell (over a TPU inner lining) coated in Cerakote to mimic the feel and exact colors of the enamel in Le Creuset's range of vibrant kitchenware.

As someone who uses Cerakote in a range of necklace items I make (and sell), I fully approve. |

Bake at 180°C for half an hour, then open the lid and return to the oven for another 20 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool fully before trying to make a call. |

What's a Cerakote? It sounds like croquette. Can I eat it? |

Le Creuset abandoning their methods for a chunk of Cerakoted titanium? I can't see it myself. I think they'd go the cast iron & enamel route. This would yield a heavy, ~5mm thick phone case that, when dropped, would likely shatter. The phone would probably survive so as long as you're the sort of person that considers Le Creuset disposable, it would work out well. |

Cast iron and enamel, certainly. I want mine in yellow enamel with the handles opposite each other and a pouring spout. Rather than gorilla glass, a cast-iron lid would ensure the security of the iPhone. A dedicated holster on your web harness should make moving around a breeze if it was counterweighted by your regulation side arm. |

When the new models come out, you can use the old cases to braise very small things. |
