Multi Dimensional tunable audio space

Arrayed crowd sourced audio recordings with navigation interface

There should be a multi dimensional audio space composed of an array of crowd sourced sounds - volunteers would upload sounds to an app and they would be arranged in a multi dimensional array so that they could be navigated along different axes, each knob controlling an aspect like trebble or base, frequency, more cowbell, etc. So rather than tuning the radio to just the next random station you could tune in the direction of a recordning that is just like this one but has a quicker tempo or whatever.

       Well, if you're going to start by arranging your visitors into arrays and calling them "knobs", you're not going to get very far, are you?
