Seems to me this would require the cooperation of the producers, or the earliest links in the supply chain. |
I doubt they'd be prepared to help out with a plan like this. |
Yeah but you could, like, _trick_ them or something... |
Start with tobacco, its supply chain would be easier to integrate with. |
I'd vote for that. I'd like to be able to buy from higher up the
supply chain. |

Better idea, flood the narcotics market with marked/tagged bills and watch where they end up. Except this is already done. |
Especially since narcotics are typically re-packaged in smaller and smaller quantities every step of the way, and transmitters are unlikely to make this journey along with the drugs. |
Anyway, isnt market manipulation through flooding the market generally considered a bad thing in liberal western democracies? |
Probably easily defeated by any sort of RFID tag
sniffer. |

[Wf] why ? simply pretend to be one..sell at cheaper rates to gain entry into market. |

//I'd like to be able to buy from higher up the supply chain.// - which makes me think: is it legal grow your own tobacco, for your own consumption? |

Here in the UK, yes it is, but you still have to pay tax on it. |
