Olympic Stone

Dumbed down

(+1, -1)

A simplified version of "Stone, paper, scissors" where the only option is "Stone".

All contests are extremely predictable and end in a draw.

More interesting than all other Olympic events with the exception of Synchronised Coracle Archery and Flenting.

The same interest level as Cricket.

Still considerably more interesting than Baseball, which is excluded from the Olympics as it is not actually a 'sport' but more an introductory technique for those who wish to practice being dead.

//Flenting// Really? I must tell the Marketing Department - it will make her day.

Public flenting was made illegal in the mid 1800's and, (for politicoeconomic reasons), Belgium banned even the private flenting booths that had sprung up.

       Oh, I wouldn't say that. For instance, there's… uhm… well…

       Hmm.

//Still considerably more interesting than Baseball.//

Okay, I'm gonna have to take exception to this statement. It's just not fair using tautologies to promote your idea.

We would never do that, it would be cruel … we like watching them wander around in the sunshine, munching lettuice leaves, with their bright eyes and funny little wrinkly, scaly faces… the big ones can live hundreds of years, you know.

       Or is that turtles?

Wait—I thought the entire thing was just one big marketing department?

It's a very efficient organisation. She multitasks.

Are you suggesting [MB]'s wife is a //big marketing department//?

       Them's fightin' words, boy.
