I think you should make gold fishes only instead of cheesy crackery outside and airy inside. I think you should make them out of pancake and with a syrup on the inside. Or maybe with blueberry stuff on the insides. Anyway thats it.

nomadic_wonderer, Feb 02 2004

[UnaBubba] I liked this idea because its simple. I am not stirring any revolt here. Just thought I'd mention that.
nomadic_wonderer, Feb 02 2004

       Stop carping on him, [madic].
Worldgineer, Feb 02 2004

I don't see why anyone would think this is finny....even if [nomadic_wanderer] liked the scale of the idea, it's not much of a tail.
normzone, Feb 02 2004

I'll step in, just for the halibut. [UB], you octopus his face in, talking to you like that.
lintkeeper2, Feb 02 2004

Space-Pope, Feb 02 2004

look, what's the porpoise of this idea?
jonthegeologist, Feb 03 2004

I am not sure that this idea is as Brill as some, but [UB] is a Dab hand at the witty retort.
gnomethang, Feb 03 2004

This discussion is giving me a haddock.
juliec2, Feb 04 2004

.....haddock....is that something you wear over your garabaldi spot ? Ok, I'll leave you abalone now....
normzone, Feb 04 2004

This sounds ruddy tasty, it would only take a minnow to cook too. I'd better skate before I run trout of puns.
silverstormer, Feb 04 2004

Aww, [silver] don't flounder on the pun front!
Letsbuildafort, Feb 04 2004

Gar!. All these puns are leaving me in a state of high gudgeon.
<Fast Show>I'll get me coat</FS>
gnomethang, Feb 04 2004

jonthegeologist, Feb 05 2004

It's just so easy to get hooked. Stop baiting me, [Bubba]. Just leave...get back in your boat and roe.

pancake fishes don't have a leg to stand on

Give a man a fish, he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to fish, he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day.
DesertFox, May 05 2004

i'm finding it very hard to get an angle on this. is this a reel idea. i think you're just breaming.
etherman, May 06 2004

Hmmm, i'm sure i've never seen a Grouper worse annos!
MikeOliver, May 06 2004

I'd give my sole for this!
DesertFox, May 06 2004

       It's getting a real battering.

       I've smelt better ideas.
bristolz, May 06 2004

I'm glad were singing to the same tuna, but other people voted against this. Where there's a will, there's a whale. I don't think this idea is too crappie. (+)

       Beat you all hands down.
DesertFox, May 06 2004

       Flounder was already done.
DesertFox, May 07 2004

Of coarse, floating this sort of line on the fly is just making a rod for my own back but I think that I’ll resist the lure, keep my opinion to myself and weight and see the net result of the votes before I attempt to tackle the issue.
DrBob, May 07 2004

       Ooohhh! Good one(s).
DesertFox, May 07 2004

see link based on original idea.
dentworth, May 08 2004

Believe it or not, there is a "Giant Pancake-Headed Catfish"
DesertFox, May 20 2005

Holy mackerel, I'm surprised some cutthroat bullhead hasn't given someone a bigeye shiner or cutlips over this. Maybe we should all talk this over at the pub with an alewife and a game of darters or snooker.

This thread reminds me of Kip Addotta's "Wet Dream." Link provided.
