Shrunken Stones

Turnip up to eleven.

Create a giant colourful statue of the members of Spinal Tap, perhaps fifty feet high, and place it next to Stone Henge on Salisbury Plain.

This will make it look as though the band had the perspective right when they recreated the legendary stones on their tour, and will be a right good wheeze.

If you're short of time, click two minutes in. Either way, turn the volume up to eleven. [Fishrat, Sep 08 2010]

Yes! Stone Henge could do with a bit of interest. [+]

Stonehenge definitely needs some help. It's disappointing in the flesh; tiny compared with expectation and so closely skirted by the road.

I hear they're planning to release Stone Henge II soon, which will be much bigger and in 3-D.

Add a giant midget dressed as a leprechaun and it'll be perfect.

I'm boning this because I feel humorless today. Sorry
Voice, Sep 06 2010

That's ok. I hope that boning the idea cheers you up a bit. I know what it's like when life feels a bit glum and you want to arbitrarily hit out at someone. Chin up, [voice].

By the way, I've boned all of your ideas right back, because I'm feeling a bit vengeful today. How do you like them onions?

       //It's disappointing in the flesh//

Most disappointing. I had a rock hammer in my coat, but wasn't allowed anywhere near the stones. I haven't been so miffed since they took away my pliers in the Statute of Liberty. I just wanted a small bit of copper, like a penny's worth, but they became hostile and said I couldn't have it.

I have a teeny tiny piece of Apollo 10's (I think) re-entry shield, picked off back in the days when the Science Museum thought a rope barrier and a notice were sufficient protection.

We have stuff you buggers would go mad for (Including Voyager II, but don't tell NASA, we've been carefully faking the signals for years).

       And - better - we have Stephen Hawking's autograph.... there's a rarity.

[DrWorm] I had forgotten the leprechauns. I love how they crash into one another when they dance.

Crafty, and bonus points for skewing the results just enough so that people are going mad with the acceleration errors.

The funny thing is, NASA's tracking system failed years ago and *they've* been faking the signal at their end also.
