Spectacles calculator

Simple text-recognition technology, applied to a pair of spectacles, could turn them into a useful calculator. Simply look at a mathematical problem and the solution would be displayed with semi-transparent LEDs on the inside of the lens.

Taken one step further, spectacles could scan all kinds of printed materials and translate what they see into electronic data. Look at your photographs to scan them; look at your newspaper to record whole articles; look at barcodes while you shop to add up the bill...

       I'd love a pair, Product Bar Codes (or UPC codes) do not contain product prices. They are simply unique product numbers which the store then compares against their database to obtain a price. So unless you have access to the stores database.....
