This is something I'd find amusing becuase it would confound one's expectations of a Three Stooges short.

Any amateur filmmaker with some uninhibited friends and your basic digital-video camera/Mac-based editing software could do this.

The plot is this: Guy hires the stooges to build a shed. Leaves them alone. Stooges do all the usual Stooges baloney: Get the tools, what tools?/na-nee-na/hey, Moe, quiet, you lamebrain. But, they get the shed finished. Boss comes back and says, "Well this looks like good work" and he pounds on support posts and tests doors and windows which open and close smoothly, and he says "Yes, this is good, solid work! I'll get you boys your money, and some extra for finishing so early." And he leaves, and the Stooges go, "Success! Success!" Then the credits roll to the strains of "Listen to the Mockinbird."

//na-nee-na// Bun just for that bit - I would have used more of a 'nyuk', but I like your way better.

Kinda like a movie where the bad guy actually kills the good guy and gets away? Yeah, I can dig it.

I kinda like the underlying 'chaos leads to functional structure' concept.
