Warning, do not install it yourself!
The basic set-up requires the removal of a tooth, a little surgery, but the effect will be a lot of fun.
Step one: make a tooth that is both a battery, antenna, sensor and micro computer, cote it in ceramic and make it look like the real thing, then have it
installed.
Create a micro generator, centrifugal turbine I think there called, where fluid passes through one side spins the blade and electricity is formed. On both ends of the generator place sensors, I’ll get back to the sensors.
Get your local MD to bypass an artery, and tie in the generator.
Run a micro wire to the tooth to store power and run the computer.
Run a second small wire to your ear nerve for listening.
Concept, the blood powers the generator, the tooth holds power, processes and relays information to your ears. It can be operated by voice command or maybe clicking your teeth.
But you may ask, what in the hell for?
It could monitor the blood of diabetics; the tooth could even transmit an SOS to the users home phone if there was unstable levels of insulin.
It could be a real cool radio or cell phone.
You could even monitor heart problems.
Sensors on both sides would insure blood pressure.
Even do periodic white blood cell and, platelets counts.
I bet special Ops could use this idea.

the idea of a little radio hard wired into my tooth sounds cool until you described the process of installing it. somehow, i don't think i'd want all thatstuff being done in my mouth. for the purposes you listed, current proceedures seem less intrusive. it's a great concept, but i'm going to withhold my vote for awhile. |
