Makes your browser history searchable by page contents. Not quite this idea, but related. [notexactly, May 16 2018]

Annotation:

...With different clickable sorts, and a screenshot of every front page. A lot like the iMac file find.

You mean like Chrome’s history page, with maybe a tweak of pictures?
RayfordSteele, May 07 2018

Yes [Ray], but it's not history of your visits but rather the history of your bookmarks. You bookmarked that site last week, but where is it.

Instead of going through your whole history you just want to find the sites that you bookmarked recently, and you'll recognize it immediately.

// You bookmarked that site last week, but where is it. //

In most browsers, you can search through your bookmarks (sometimes even the page contents thereof). That solves that problem as long as you can remember some of the title/contents/URL.
