Find something round that emits bright light and holds itself together in space. Any size from "pinhead" to "baseball" would be okay. The light must be sustainable for some time and it must be possible to make various colors. Reflected sunlight is not sufficient. Tie them together with a very thin wire framework and set them spinning in space. Photograph.

You probably wouldn't need to do this in space. A vacuum chamber and/or the Vomit Comet would probably suffice.
