wiremold PCB traces

 put a square or O-shaped grounded box around every PCB trace to reduce electromagnetic crosstalk

I think they put effort into designing circuit boards and component layout to minimize EM interference. It would be an engineering feat to make it cheap and suitable to multilayer boards, but putting every trace in something like a grounded wiremold box could reduce EM crosstalk permitting denser component placement.
