Aid Bomb
Bomb kills the enemy, then secondary bomblets release aid packages. | |
When you kill your enemies, it's important to help the
survivors rebuild, post war Germany and Japan being
successful examples of this method.
So to save time, Remucon introduces the "Civilizer" two
part bomb system. The primary charge kills everybody,
but
contained in the bomb are many
smaller, heavily
armored
sub-munitions. These are spread hither and yon by the
initial blast and pop open to reveal all sorts of goodies to
help the enemy, who have presumably now learned their
lesson, to rebuild.
Some contain food or medicine, chocolate bars and other
treats will pop out of others. Of course many will contain
soap and shampoo (which is sorely needed in some of
these
places if you catch my drift) Cash to help rebuild will
also
pop out of some of these life giving, civilization building
mini-bombs.
From hellish third world shithole to modern, civilized,
even delightful paradise on Earth with this easy, all-in-
one
bomb/aid system. The Civilizer 9000 munition system.
Bomb 'em into...
...the modern age!

This is horrible on so many levels... |
|

It would be much more effective to have the explosive submunitions "lurk" until someone approaches the aid items, then detonate, killing them - but the basic concept is useful, so [+]. |

Sooo, you don't understand that this is sarcasm that's making
fun of the concept of bombing a country then trying to
civilize them? I'm at a loss for words. |
|
|
Oh - so it's sarcasm? - and here's me thinking it was a cut and paste from "Onward Christian Soldiers Of Fortune" magazine. |
|
|
Wow - so that's what it means - so helpful. I can visualise hundreds of thousands of extra heavy-duty bullet proof vests parachuting down from the skies of Nebraska, whilst the good people of the hellish third world dream of a better life. |

Sadly, it didn't work in Japan. The mistake was obvious - some of them were left alive. If the population had been cleansed, the country could then have been recolonized by Koreans, Chinese, and other nations that had suffered at Japanese hands, as some sort of practical compensation. |
