All Colour's wide

Map the rainbow colours against/on to the bell curve

It doesn't matter what aspect it is, from countries to the personal, humans will recursively rainbow it. Hence even the colour meanings have a normal distribution.

If the mapping is going to go ahead, the problem will be which way round? red or blue to the 5% end. Doesn't red have less curvature? I feel a statistical solution on the horizon.

       Where does Octarine go?
not_morrison_rm, Feb 17 2019

If you have the eyes, it's there. If not then Octarine is displayed more, when working, on amulets, bracelets or staffs. Maybe glimpses are seen in the Aurora Coriolis.

This is all well and good, but semantic operatives aren't conjunctive, which means that a linear scale will be at least one dimension short of adequacy. I'd suggest a laGrange mapping onto the ontogenic mean.

"THE ONTOGENETIC MEAN", [IT]. Do you need a new battery for your herring aid ?

NO, THE ONTOGENIC MEAN, [8th]. Do you need a new battery for your reading glasses ?

That's just mean [MB], no matter what colour you paint it!

Yes, thankyou. Milk and two sugars. Are there any cookies ?

I don't think I was meaning that there was hardware relationship. [Max] Do you think there is a rock solid physics relationship between the statistics of ontogeny and light refraction? If so, it would be a very subtle pattern.

This ideal was more a symbolism for peace that humans no matter what facet, we will be a statistically diverse bunch. Hue-manity.

We have used the rainbow as a symbol for a lot of things and to use it for a specific aspect seems wastefiul when it could be so much more.

I would like the visually magical rainbow to remind me of the complexity and diverse ingenuity of the human race not some petty aspect. Also, to me, the bell curve seems to graph this feeling/concept. Mapping them together seems appropriate.

So, statistically speaking, its actually easy being green?
RayfordSteele, Feb 18 2019

Yes, go with the flow and school with the statistical mean. No tall poppies, all grass.

Grey, if you can see Octarine.
