It's really simple. Stick a reinforced bag of beans in a modified grenade launcher, and fire them halfway across the city from the local farm to your house (or wherever) quickly! The exploding action will pre-heat the beans, and the impact will pre-mash them!

(Warning: Does not apply to lima beans. If problems occur, please visit your local chiropractor.)

(-) That's just not how you cook beans - they're either going to burn or not change.

perhaps a misdirection toward spuds would prove more beneficial. more people like mashed potatoes than mashed beans. just sayin'

Cops already use beanbag rounds in grenade launchers for crowd control: the beans aren't baked, but I think this idea is...

I doubt anyone has tried to cook beans using this...err, "method". Maybe they would be good! You might want some water in there, or perhaps a savory broth.

baked projectiles don't work so great in cannon. i tried a baked potato once, it blew apart and sprayed potato shrapnel for twenty feet. looked pretty cool but had no range.

You could use a laser to heat the water, which would quickly turn into steam, providing the propulsion, and a more even cooking. Of course, that wouldn't work so well in a regular grenade launcher,

But this is not a problem, because, Strange606, the cops don't use grenade launchers to fire their bean bags either. They use shotguns.

Hmm, I wonder how gunpowder would do as a seasoning...
