Bishop Berkeley's fork update

  [vote for,

With better technology, the forks can sited on towers, rotating 360 degrees and bringing in more taxes.

And that's it. Short and sweet.

I might try doing the towers and forks, but I am hamfisted at drawing these days. ‎

Morton's Fork https://www.google....r&q=morton%27s+fork
You're forked either way. [pertinax, May 25 2021]

       Excellent and informative category choice.

Google doesn't seem to know what Bishop Berkeley's fork is. Perhaps you should tell it.

       There is no spork.

Also, [pocmloc], there's a deliberate confusion with Morton's Fork. (Morton was a bishop, as was Berkeley, but Morton was also a tax assessor).

Thank you, my knowledge of Morton's Fork comes from 1066 and all that, so the only thing I knew about it was that it was long and pointy and used for prodding people. I see now going back to the source that this was to encourage them to hand over their money, but I had forgotten that (obviously not memorable enough. Berkley was not mentioned.
