Expensive, difficult, slightly dangerous, not particularly effective... I'm on a roll.

A couple of acquaintances of mine recently were injured in Motorcycle accidents going over 100 mph.
A *young kid* passed them up at 110+ on a MV Agusta Serie Oro F4. Well, they didn't like that at all. One tried to catch up to and pass the F4.
1st Rider + Rock = Motorcycle and oil everywhere.
(Oil slick was @ 15 yards/metres)
2nd Rider + Oil = Slide x Fall x Slam into barrier x Bike over cliff
2 Riders = Helicopter Ride to Hospital = Casts here and there.

It's now a hassle to answer the phone, let alone dial it.
I propose a Cast with embedded phone.

I prescribe bedrest with sensory deprivation for these two bozos.

Of course - it's just a tragically humorous anecdote & they're just acquaintances who've got 40 years of motorcycling experience guts and less brains between them.
Eliminate that cause - would a Cast Phone serve a porpoise for someone injured in brainier circumstances?

Only if you can also stick phones in leg casts. That way, an accidental break helps to improve your flexibility like never before.
-knee phones for the less adventurous
-ankle phones for the yoga gurus

My first priority would be a cast that would scratch the itchy places.
FarmerJohn, Jul 23 2002

oh FarmerJohn, for that all you need are some symbiotic parasites to scuttle around inside your cast.

FJ: set the phone to vibrate, and I think it would do the trick. (Better that than cockroaches, anyway.) (But we already discussed vibrating casts, and they're Baked.)

If my cell phone keeps dropping calls, it's going to need it's own cast...

bliss, you and most others missed *sexybob* trolling, with *carts_with_no_punts* and *syren* annotating everything in sight. *parts_with_no_cunts* also changed the ideas with some frequency - This is why *parts_with_no_cunts* - the diversion - was marked as a troll elsewhere.
