Cures you of Anthrax if you have it or the anxiety of thinking you have it, if you don't have it.

A small sign in the tin reading 'You don't have anthrax. Get over it.' would work as well.
StarChaser, Nov 11 2001

Nice work, 'giddy - criossant. Two croissants, if you can find a way to synthesize the drug so that the Prozac component makes the patient better able to withstand (or ignore) the nasty side effects of Cipro.

"The seizures are a drag, but I'm so happy about my safety from anthrax that I just don't care ..."

Risky for pregnancy, with the cipro that is.

With all the dubious side-effects people are claiming for Prozac and similar drugs, this might make you run around anthraxing people.

While we are throwing around letters and numbers, how about ADD, JD, SAD, Asperger's Syndrom, PETA, C3PO, R2D2, and the ever popular BDSM? Or were you just shooting for Prozac and Cipro?
barnzenen, Nov 13 2001

The risk with widespread, unnecessary usage of CIPRO is that you could get antibiotic-resistant diseases that a greater menance than that the current anthrax threat. However the Prozac might assage any unwanted feelings of guilt anyway ...

Perhaps better to use a powerful narcotic than Prozac, which from my understanding requires a sustained regimen before effects are felt. I wouldn't be surprised if narcotics were contraindicated with antibiotics, though.
snarfyguy, Nov 13 2001

Cipro pretty much only works on anthrax, so the idiots taking it aren't going to cause any real problems.

Unless they manage to create a resistant strain of anthrax.

It isn't a preventative, it's a treatment. Taking it before one has anthrax is just stupid...
StarChaser, Nov 16 2001

Maybe leave out the Cipro altogether then, and just have the powerful narcotic...
snarfyguy, Nov 16 2001

Just stay away form the grapefruit juice.
mystic2311, Dec 17 2003

Prozac and the other SSRI's have withdrawl issues too so you'd have to ramp people off of them. Also long term use of antibiotics causes a flu-like syndrome that can feel as bad as the infection that it's meant to be curing. This is one of the many reasons for the high drop-out rate from treatment regimes for TB.
